1. The Questionnaire

Once you order and pay, we send you the link to our questionnaire, in which you tell us all about the recipient. Aside from the answers to direct questions (like what style you'd like the song written in), we get a feel for the person and thus what the song should sound like.

2. Composing

Sometimes the lyrics come first, sometimes the music does. It depends on what inspires us from the questionnaire. We write completely original lyrics based on the filled-out questionnaire, and the lyrics suggest a melody and style. Or the questionnaire inspires a musical style and melody, which in turn suggests unique lyrics. But wherever we begin, each song is as individual as the person whom the song is for!

3. Recording

Song Gifter has a small, professional studio with state of the art digital equipment. We record on multi-channels, layering the instrumentals and vocal tracks.

4. Producti0n

Once the song is recorded, we produce it for balance and add any needed effects. The end product is a high quality song which sounds like any other you could hear on iTunes, yet it's all about you or your loved one!
